Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America, located at a strategic position in the core of the Central American isthmus with coastlines in both oceans.

Nicaragua has significant natural resources and attractions not exploited yet, competitive labor force and generous laws promoting investment.

Nicaragua, with an area of 130,688 square kilometers (49,759 square miles), neighbors with Honduras to the north, Costa Rica to the south, the Caribbean Sea to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.  Its capital city, Managua, with close to a million people, is also the largest city.

The ramifications of the Central American Mountain Range, which cross the country, causes a considerable climatic diversity.  The climate is hot and dry along the Pacific Coast, mild in the Central Mountains and humid in the Caribbean region.
